Transitioning from the business / finance industry to becoming a Cloud Engineer might seem like a dramatic shift, but in reality, it's all about solving problems in new ways.
I spent the last 6 years in finance, working with large data sets, automating processes, advancing security master efforts, and mastering SQL.
The transition wasn't always easy. There were long nights spent learning new technologies, climbing steep learning curves, and building a new foundation of knowledge. Swapping spreadsheets for cloud infrastructure has been one of the most rewarding moves I've made. I hope to build on my existing foundation, passion for learning, and problem solving into this new adventure.
